How to transfer the downloaded music to the Apple Music App
Apple Music is a streaming service that allows you to access a vast library of music, but it does not provide a way to import and play your own downloaded MP3 files. In order to transfer it to the App, you would need either a Mac or Windows Computer. You can either use iTunes (Mac) or Copy Trans Manager (Windows) to sync your downloaded MP3 files from there to your iPhone's Music app.
Here's a general guide on how to do it (we use iTunes as an example, the process is similar with Copy Trans Manager):
- Connect your iPhone to your computer using a USB cable.
- Launch iTunes on your computer. If you don't have iTunes, you can download it from the Apple website.
- In iTunes, click on the device icon that appears in the top-left corner of the iTunes window. This will open the summary page for your iPhone.
- Select "Music" from the sidebar on the left.
- Check the box next to "Sync Music" and choose the option to sync your entire music library or selected playlists, artists, albums, etc.
- Now, you can either drag and drop your downloaded MP3 files directly into the iTunes window or click on the "File" menu, select "Add File to Library" or "Add Folder to Library," and browse for the location where your MP3 files are stored.
- Once you have added the MP3 files to your iTunes library, click on the "Apply" or "Sync" button in iTunes to start syncing the music to your iPhone.
- After the sync process is complete, you should be able to find your transferred MP3 files in the Music app on your iPhone.
Please note that this method involves using iTunes, and the process may vary slightly depending on the version of iTunes and the operating system you're using. Additionally, it's always a good idea to back up your iPhone before syncing to avoid any data loss.
